The 3D Secure protection system

The 3D Secure system enables a bank to ensure that the user is indeed the author of the online purchases made with a credit card. In other words, 3D Secure is used to identify a user when they are about to pay online.

Only the bank card or Lydia card number and the three-digit visual cryptogram (which appears on the back of the card) will be requested at the time of payment.

To make secure online purchases, we recommend using virtual cards.

3D Secure with Lydia

The user receives a notification in their application and must confirm the payment using their security code.

If the user did not initiate the payment, they must reject it.

In the event of fraudulent use of the Lydia card online

If the Lydia card has been used fraudulently to pay for purchases made on the Internet, the user must contact Lydia immediately to dispute the transaction:

- by e-mail: support@lydia-app.com ;

- by phone: 01 79 75 40 30.

Don't forget to block the card to protect your account.
