A password is as easy to create as it is to forget. Fortunately, Lydia has a secure backup process it in case you forgot it.
First of all, you have to make sure that your app is up-to-date (by going on the App Store or the Play Store).
You can access the Lydia app without your password by following these simple steps:
Open the Lydia app, hit "I already have an account" and enter the email address linked to your Lydia account
- Tap "Forgot your password? A problem?"
- Follow the instructions
- Record your video selfie
- Wait for Lydia's confirmation email to recover your account
- Click on the link to securely access your account
☝️ You are free to refuse to perform the video selfie in accordance Lydia's Personal data protection policy.
In this case, you may contact Lydia's support team by writing to support@lydia-app.com in order to receive an alternative solution. Read Lydia's Terms and conditions for more information on the password recovery procedure.
Please note: to ensure the security of Lydia accounts, those videos are analyzed by… humans! The password recovery email is usually delivered within a couple of hours, and the link in the email will be valid for 24 hours. It will only be usable from the device that was used to record the video selfie.
