When you use the Lydia Website (https://lydia-app.com/en ; https://support.lydia-app.com/en and https://supportpro.lydia-app.com/l/en) and our applications (Lydia and Lydia Pro), we and our Partners may store and/or access information on your device via Cookies or similar technologies to process personal data. This trackers and cookies policy is intended to explain what cookies are, how they are used by our services and Partners, and how you can manage them.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that may be stored in a dedicated space on the hard disk of your Terminal* when you consult an online service using your browser. A cookie file allows its issuer to identify the Terminal in which it is stored for the duration of the validity or storage of the cookie. The term "cookie" covers, for example: HTTP Cookies, "flash" Cookies, invisible pixels or "web bugs".

Other Trackers, including any means of storing data on your web browser or Terminal, identifiers associated with your Terminal and other software, are used for similar purposes. They may be depoWebsited and/or read, for example, when consulting a mobile application, or when installing or using software, regardless of the Terminal. These technologies are widely used to make Website and applications work and to improve their functionality. When using our application and Lydia Website, SDKs (Software Development Kits) are used for various purposes as described below.

In this Tracking Policy, we will refer to all such technologies as "Cookies".

Unless otherwise specified herein, the Cookies we use are necessary for the proper functioning and performance of the Lydia applications (the "Application") and our Lydia Websites (the "Website"). This includes Cookies that allow you to access secure areas of our Website and Application, purchase a product (VISA card) or use a money transfer (peer to peer) and payment service (QR code). The information stored in the necessary Cookies will only be used to provide you with the requested services and features.

The Terminal refers to the hardware equipment (computer, tablet, smartphone, connected watches, etc.) that you use to consult or view a Website, an application, advertising content, etc.

Why do we use Cookies?

We use Cookies to:

• To make the Application and the Website function in accordance with your expectations;
• Improve the reliability, speed and security of the Application and the Website and resolve bugs; 
• Recognize you when you revisit the Application and the Website in order to personalize our content, greet you by name and remember your preferences;
• To measure the number of visitors to the Application and the Website and their browsing habits in order to improve the functionality of the Application and the Website;
• Identify your visit to the Application and the Website, the pages you visit and the links you click. If you allow us to send you marketing emails, we will also use this information to send you personalized marketing emails;
• Allow you to share pages with your social networks, such as Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram.

What Cookies do we use?

Lydia and its Partners use different types of Cookies for the purposes described below.

1. Cookies not subject to user consent

Cookies strictly necessary for the operation

These are Cookies that are necessary for the operation of the Website and the Application that cannot be disabled in our systems and that allow you to use the main features of the Application and to secure your connection (for example, Cookies for authentication to a service, including those to ensure the security of the authentication mechanism, by limiting robotic or unexpected access attempts)

More specifically, these tracers are used for the following purposes: to ensure the proper functioning of the application, to facilitate its use by adapting its functionalities, to provide services associated with the contracts subscribed to, to identify fraud, to transmit essential information and to comply with regulatory constraints.

Audience measurement Cookies

These are Cookies whose sole purpose is to produce anonymous statistics. They allow Lydia, exclusively, to measure the performance of its digital applications. 

The management of the Website and the Application requires the use of traffic and/or performance statistics to meet various needs: the optimization of technical performance and the functioning of the services offered, the detection of navigation problems, the improvement of page ergonomics and new page versions, the measurement of the traffic of the various contents and the evaluation of the power of the necessary servers (for example, the most frequently consulted pages, the most frequent searches in the Website's search engine, the ergonomics of new page versions...). 

These Cookies do not allow the global tracking of the person's navigation on several applications and Website (cross-device, cross-domain) and are not cross-referenced with other processing or transmitted to third parties.

These Cookies cannot be deactivated. Pursuant to the CNIL Deliberation No. 2020-091 of September 17, 2020 adopting guidelines relating to the application of Article 82 of the Act of January 6, 1978, they are considered strictly necessary for the functioning and routine administration of a Website or application and are therefore not subject, pursuant to Article 82 of the Act "Informatique et Libertés", to the legal obligation of prior collection of consent of the user.

Your consent to the installation of non-strictly necessary Cookies is free and can be withdrawn or given at any time.

1. Advertising Cookies (personalized offers)

These Cookies allow Lydia and its Partners to show you personalized ads based on your browsing experience on our Application and your profile. If you do not allow these Cookies, a personalized profile of ads that meet your needs and desires will not be created and your advertising will be less targeted.

Lydia also uses the browsing data collected via these trackers to provide us with customer information and to send you personalized communications related to your needs. These trackers allow us to obtain the following data: 

Geolocation data

Your precise geolocation data may be used to support one or more purposes. This means that your location may be accurate to within several meters.

Navigation data 

Advertisements may be presented to you based on the pages and editorial content you view and the products you are interested in. The performance and effectiveness of the content you see or interact with may be measured in order to improve existing products and services and develop new products.

Data relating to your Terminal

We actively analyze the characteristics of your Terminal for identification purposes. Your Terminal can be identified and distinguished from other devices based on the identifying information and characteristics it automatically sends, such as IP address or browser type.

2. Social network cookies

These Cookies are activated by the services offered on the social networks that we have added to the Website and the Application in order to give you the possibility to share our content with your network and your acquaintances. They allow these platforms to track your browsing on other Website and applications, including for advertising purposes. 

We are not responsible for the processing of the collected data; the purposes and means of the processing (i.e. the purpose and the way of realizing the data) are determined by the social networks used. 

These Cookies can have a significant impact on the content and messages displayed on other Website you visit. If you do not allow these Cookies, you may not be able to use or view these sharing tools.

How do I manage Cookies? 

The recording of a Cookie not necessary for the functioning of the Website or the Application is subject to the will of the user of the Terminal, which he can express and modify at any time and free of charge.

If you have accepted on the Website or the Application the unnecessary Cookies in your Terminal, they will be integrated in the pages and contents consulted and may be stored temporarily in your Terminal.

A cookie management configurator is available on the Website and the Application to allow you to manage the Cookies used and/or deposited on your Terminal. At any time, you can access the configurator and modify your preferences by purpose.
