Customers using the Lydia app
They need to tap "Send" on the home page and follow instructions from there.
They can enter a phone number or an email address by tapping "Phone No. / email" or by searching their contacts if they gave access to the app.
As with a bank account, it is one of the customer's accounts that will be debited. This means the selected account should have sufficient balance.
They must enter a message that explains the reason for the payment. They can also add a picture, which will be shared with the recipient.
Finally, if a customer does not recognise the recipient, he should write to customer service with the subject line "unknown recipient".
The recipient is a Lydia customer
The amount credited right away on their Lydia account. And if they chose so, they will be notified.
The recipient is not a Lydia customer
They can tap on the link in the text message or email that was immediately sent to them. Doing so will lead them to a secure page where they can make the transfer request to their bank account.
They have 7 days to do so before the payment is cancelled.
Non-user of the app
It is possible to send money without the app. To do so, the recipient must make a payment request.
This will send a payment link via text message or email.
