Features and products from Lydia trading app are provided by our partner BitPanda, one of the European leaders in this field, based in Austria.

Under certain circumstances, BitPanda may entirely remove assets from the platform or disable the ability to buy and sell certain assets.

Assets removed from the platform

If the user owns shares in an asset that is removed from the platform, BitPanda will automatically sell the user's position and transfer the funds to their Lydia balance. The user will then be notified by email about the situation.

Unavailable assets

The user of Lydia's trading service may sometimes find that an asset is no longer available. In some cases, assets:

  • can no longer be purchased
  • can no longer be sold
  • cannot be bought or sold simultaneously

If the user owns shares of an asset on which selling is unavailable, he will keep his positions but they will change according to market fluctuations.

If the user wishes to buy shares of an asset on which buying is unavailable, he will have to wait until the asset is available for purchase again to take a position.
