Which countries are eligible?

The Lydia app can be used in several European countries to send money to a phone number.

To use the app, you must have a mobile phone number issued in one of the eligible countries.

List of compatible countries within the Lydia app ๐ŸŒ

You can use Lydia if you have a phone number issued in one of the following countries:

  • ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Metropolitan France and DROM-COM (numbers starting with +33)
  • ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡จ Monaco (+ 377)
  • ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ช Belgium (+ 32)
  • ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช Germany (+ 49)
  • ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ Spain (+ 34)
  • ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช Ireland (+ 353)
  • ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น Portugal (+ 351)
  • ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Great Britain (+ 44)
  • ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Italy (+39) ๐Ÿ†•

In all eligible countries, you can use Lydia to:

โš ๏ธException โš ๏ธ You cannot send or ask for money with Lydia using two different currencies. For example, a French person who uses the Lydia app in Euros (โ‚ฌ) will not be able to send money or request payment to an English person who uses the Lydia app in Pounds (ยฃ).
